COLUMN SETTINGS
Slync.io
Slync.io is a Logistics Orchestration Platform. I worked alongside two other designers. This design is my own twist on a user story for column configuration.
THE PROBLEM
There were so many columns shown by default on Slync's various list views. Because of this, it is hard for users to focus on the relevant information pertaining to them and causes users to have to scroll horizontally excessively.

MY SOLUTION
To solve this problem, I added a new column settings icon in the top right corner that I designed by combining two existing icons. When clicked, a "Column Settings" modal opens and allows users to remove columns by clicking the minus icon or dragging them from "Selected Columns" to "Available Columns." This allows users to hide irrelevant information and focus on the important data.
If a user changes their mind, they are able to hit the plus icon of drag it back to the "Selected Columns" section. If the user removes a lot of columns and would like to revert to the original layout, they can simply hit the "Reset to Defaut" button.
I also considered an upcoming story for compact rows and included that in this design by adding a toggle in the bottom left corner of the modal.
